Business Terms
Last updated: April 2026
1. About these terms
These business terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the DishGo platform as a merchant — a takeaway restaurant or food business accepting orders through the platform.
DishGo is operated by COMPERA LTD, registered in England and Wales with company number 12265681, with its registered office at 284 Chase Road A Block 2nd Floor (Take Account), London, England, N14 6HF.
By creating a business account, you agree to these Terms, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.
2. The platform
DishGo provides an online ordering platform that enables takeaway businesses to:
- Create a branded online ordering page
- Manage menus, categories, variants, modifiers, and item availability
- Accept orders for collection and/or delivery
- Receive secure online card payments via Stripe Connect
- Manage opening hours and restaurant status
- View and manage incoming orders
DishGo acts as a technology provider. The contractual relationship for each order is between you (the merchant) and the customer. We are not a party to those contracts.
3. Eligibility and registration
To use DishGo as a merchant, you must:
- Be a registered business or sole trader operating lawfully in the United Kingdom
- Hold all necessary licences, registrations, and permits for food preparation and sale (including food hygiene registration with your local authority)
- Provide accurate and up-to-date business information during registration
- Be at least 18 years old (or the account must be managed by someone who is)
We reserve the right to verify your information and decline or revoke access if eligibility requirements are not met.
4. Merchant responsibilities
As a merchant on the platform, you are responsible for:
Menu accuracy
- Ensuring menu items, descriptions, prices, and images are accurate and current
- Clearly indicating allergen information where required by law
- Updating item availability promptly (marking items sold out when unavailable)
- Setting accurate opening hours and updating them when they change
Order fulfilment
- Accepting and preparing orders within reasonable timeframes
- Ensuring food is prepared safely and to the standard described on your menu
- Making orders available for collection at the stated time
- Delivering orders promptly and in good condition (where you offer delivery)
- Handling customer complaints about food quality, accuracy, and fulfilment directly
Legal compliance
- Complying with all food safety, hygiene, and trading standards regulations
- Maintaining valid food business registration and any required licences
- Meeting your obligations under UK consumer protection, pricing, and allergen laws
5. Payments and fees
Online card payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Customers pay at checkout, and funds are transferred to your connected Stripe account, less any applicable fees.
Platform fees, payment processing charges, and billing arrangements will be communicated to you during onboarding and may be updated from time to time with reasonable notice.
You are responsible for connecting and maintaining your Stripe account, including providing accurate bank and identity information as required by Stripe. Stripe’s own terms and policies apply to your use of their services.
You are responsible for your own accounting, tax returns, and VAT obligations.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload (restaurant details, menu items, images). By uploading content, you grant DishGo a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating the platform.
You must ensure that all content you upload is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
The DishGo platform, branding, software, and underlying technology remain the property of COMPERA LTD.
7. Data protection
When processing orders, you will receive customer personal data (name, contact details, delivery address, order details). You must:
- Process this data only for the purpose of fulfilling orders and related customer service
- Keep customer data secure and not share it with unauthorised third parties
- Comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
- Delete or anonymise customer data when no longer needed
For more information on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Breach these Terms or any applicable law
- Provide inaccurate or misleading information
- Receive repeated customer complaints that are not adequately addressed
- Fail to maintain necessary food business registrations or licences
- Use the platform in a way that is harmful, fraudulent, or abusive
Where possible, we will notify you before suspension and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. In urgent cases (fraud, safety concerns), we may act immediately.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Outstanding orders and financial obligations remain your responsibility.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime in advance.
10. Liability
DishGo provides the platform as a technology service. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or accuracy of food you prepare and sell
- Your compliance with food safety, allergen, or trading standards laws
- Delivery delays, failed deliveries, or customer complaints about fulfilment
- Disputes between you and your customers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, COMPERA LTD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunity.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless COMPERA LTD against any claims, liabilities, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your negligence, or your breach of applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes with reasonable notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
